The 2013 Hacker Calendar is now out! This year, we're featuring pictures of surveillance from all around the world, as well as even more hacker dates of significance than last year's. Nearly every day of the year has something noteworthy that will be interesting to hackers.
This full size wall calendar features 14 photographs from 2600 Magazine staff photographers Dave Buchwald and Kyle Drosdick (one for each month of 2013, one for the last months of 2012, and the cover). Every image is a revealing shot of surveillance in our world, from the innocent looking peephole on the cover to the massive monitoring capability of Menwith Hill in the United Kingdom. You will be blown away at these pictures illustrating the extent of surveillance throughout the planet.
We find that people love to see what got hacked on their birthday or if they can find the names of their favorite hackers in these pages. We can think of no better gift for someone who doesn't know much about the hacker world, but is somewhat curious or open to learning something new. It will be hard not to get informed with a colorful calendar like this staring you in the face, providing new hacker info for nearly every day of the year.
(If you have a lot of friends, or are part of a hackerspace, we have a bulk discount price available.)
While supplies last, and at a discounted price, we are offering the 2012 Hacker Calendar.
This full size wall calendar features 14 really cool pictures from 2600 Magazine staff photographers Dave Buchwald and Kyle Drosdick (one for each month of 2012, one for the last months of 2011, and the cover). These images, culled from a collection of many thousands, focus on the science of telephony, the theme of this year's calendar.
This is also the only calendar we know of that clearly marks when the end of the world is supposed to take place in 2012. We figured that might also be of interest.
